HOW WE OPERATE

Matrix Psychology Services, founded just prior to 2000, has always been a rural-remote based practice located in the stunning Far North East region of Victoria. Since our inception, we have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals and organizations across both public and private sectors. Our core values are rooted in providing professional and compassionate psychology services tailored to meet the unique needs of each of our Clients. Over the past 25 years, we have continuously evolved to address these Client needs. Nowadays, we primarily operate as a tele-health based practice. While we are not a crisis service, we remain committed to advocating for and supporting our Clients as needed.

INTAKE PROCESS

We aim to keep our intake process simple. When you first reach out, we will arrange an initial phone consultation to discuss our procedures and clarify any concerns you may have. Each Client is required to complete a consent form before their first appointment. If you could print, sign, and email a copy back to the psychologist you are scheduled to see—either before or at the start of your first session—we can then begin our therapy. Should you have any questions about the form, please ensure we address them during your first scheduled appointment.

For your reference, a Medicare rebate is available through a GP Mental Health Plan when seeing a psychologist. Most Clients now seek this plan from their doctor prior to starting appointments. We are also registered providers for Workcover, TAC, NDIS, Victims of Crime, as well as various private insurers.

FEES

A standard 50-minute consultation with one of our psychologists costs $200. The current Medicare rebate for seeing a registered psychologist under a GP Mental Health Plan is $98.95.

To schedule an appointment, please call or email Michelle Rentinck or Greg Worley. After an appointment is arranged, the psychologist will email the consent form for you to complete and return via email prior to commencing therapy. A range of assessment forms may also be provided at the start and/or during the therapy process.
